Out of the mouth of children

The other day I was rushing around the house trying to get the boys ready for Tae Kwon Do. We were running a little late and my nerves were frayed. I yelled out and told the kids that they better beat me to the car or they would be left behind. As I entered the garage my four year old jumped down the steps, sprinted in front of the van. He stopped quickly and pivoted so that he could look me square in the eye, and said in a taunting tone "You are not faster than me OLD MAN" despite my ill mood I could not help but laugh.
