The knitting project was a success!!

So I haven't posted in a while, but as you may recall I was busy working on a knitting project. Well I am happy to say that I actually did it and it looks OK. I was making a baby blanket for a dear friend of ours, who is also our Tae Kwon Do coach. We had a baby shower at our house for him and his wife. It was lots of fun and I am glad to have finished my knitting in time. Hopefully it won't fall apart when they wash it. Any way here are some pictures of the finished project and the party. We had to test out the blanket before we gave it away. So we used one of our stuffed doggies to see if the hoodie part would work. Then Taylor had to take care of his "baby", and wouldn't give the blanket back for a while. Also notice the cake that Isaac ordered for the party, somehow messages got crossed and they didn't give us a boy cake. What do you do?

the blanket is gorgeous!!! I wish I could knit better. I always start then drop it and forget the stupid stitch. Someday I'll get back into it...I hope.

The blanket is AWESOME! I love it! Pepole (me including) would pay good money for those. Fun thing to learn.

I'm totally impressed with the knitting! Way to go Kristen! The blanket looks like it could be in one of those antique baby clothing stores. Very nice. My mom knits washcloths for the kitchen and I've never had her show me how to do it.
